COACHES WANTED - Fall 2022/Summer 2023

Aurora Travel Baseball is seeking qualified coaches for our 12U team and assistant coaches for 2023 season at (12U, 13U, 14U and 17U/18U) These are part-time positions at each age group, which will conclude upon the completion of the 2022 summer season.  This position will begin in August 2022 with potential weekly practices and fall baseball games in advance of preparing for winter workouts starting in winter 2022/2023 and will continue into the spring and summer season, wrapping up in mid to late July 2023.

Our program consists of non-parent coaching if possible and strives to prepare our kids to play at the next level.  Our younger teams will focus on player development and building the bridge to the next year, while playing in very competitive tournaments.  Our goals for our high school teams (15u - 18u) will be to participate in a number of top national collegiate showcase tournaments, which will provide access to numerous college coaches and some scouts at most games/tournaments.

Responsibilities include on-field coaching, pregame preparation, practice organization, mentoring players, and day to day communication with players, parents, college coaches and scouts (at the high school level).

We are seeking candidates that have previous coaching or playing experience at the high school, college, or professional level. The candidate must have strong communication skills and knowledge in the game of baseball.

At the high school level, the candidate must be able to communicate to college coaches and scouts regarding the skill set and abilities of players. Further, the candidate must have schedule flexibility throughout the summer, as we play a very competitive schedule throughout the Midwest.

If you are interested in this position please send a resume to mattg@auroratravelbaseball.org, or call Matt at (630) 258-2894.
