Tryouts for the 2023 Season have been announced.
The Aurora Thunder have announced tryout dates for the 2023 season. Please register in advance through our registration and plan on arriving 15 minutes early so that we can begin on-time.
Tryouts for the 2023 season have been scheduled as follows:

We will field teams at the 10U, 11U, 12U, 13U, 14U, 15U/16U & 17U/18U for the 2023season. We will look to field teams at the 9u age group as well depending on the number of kids we have at tryouts.
We are not restricted to taking kids from Aurora only. We have kids from several surrounding communities that comprise our teams. If you cannot make these tryout dates, please contact us to set up a private tryout.
Over the past 13 years, the Aurora Thunder have become one of the most recognized programs in the State of Illinois and the Midwest region. Through the hard work and dedication of our players, coaches, families, sponsors and volunteers - we are making a difference in our community. We have many former collegiate players coaching in our program and teaching lessons throughout the year. All of our high school aged elite teams have played in premier college showcase events throughout the Midwest, which provides opportunities for our kids to get seen by as many college coaches as possible. Over the past four years, we have seen more than seventy of our kids go on to play college baseball. We look to continue that momentum each and every year.
Tryout notes:
- Players should attend more than one session if possible
- No cost to tryout
- Please come prepared in proper baseball attire - cleats, hat, pants.
- Please bring your own glove & bat if possible.
- Catchers should bring their own gear
- Bring plenty of water/Gatorade
- Please register online and arrive 15 minutes early to check-in and stretch.
- If you don't register on-line, please plan on arriving 30 minutes early to complete the paperwork process.
